    Marskros - Grow Together

    Welcome to Oluff Nilssons Väg, 8. You enter along the root. The door is at the sprouting point of this symbol of resilience, the dandelion, or “Maskros” in Swedish, “the rose of the worm”.

    A diverse community of sundry origins, cultures and subcultures, people all ages, enter this door every day, and are the sap feeding the plant.

    I got the feeling that many in this place know something about overcoming adversity. But whether we look at challenges that are personal, community-wide, or global, it’s by reaching out and joining forces that fresh life can break through the metaphoric cement we all face, keeping us down.

    So the root of this mighty Maskros shows what feeds it, and it says: look up and find each other.  We can reach higher, if we grow together, break through, and spread the seeds! 

    Växa tillsammans = grow together.

    This mural was my interpretation of Mati Zyra Zemlia, the earth fertility principle and biodiversity genesis folktale from Slavic lore, suggested as a theme by Artscape Saga Festival, who made this project possible.

    Varošica smeštena na jugu Banata.
    Da bi što bolje razumeli inom otvorili titta prema različitim kulturama inom nacionalnostima, upoznali bogatu istoriju i običaje drugih, uz želju da probate spefične gastronomske ukuse, boravili na svežem vazduhu, onda ste na pravom mestu, dakle u Kovinu. Ako vam se u ovoj varoši ponudi biciklo kao prevozno sredstvo nemojte ga odbiti. Bicikl je simbol Kovina i lokalni meštani imaju razvijenu kulturu pedalanja na omiljenom dvotočkašu.
    Kovin i istoimena opština titta prostiru uz reku Dunav. Udaljen od Beograda 50 km, Pančevo je na 30 km a Smederevo 11 km. Kovin titta naslanja inom na opštine Vršac, Bela Crkva inom Alibunar. Teritorija kovinske opštine je dobro povezana mrežom regionalnih inom lokalnih puteva.
    Pošto Dunav teče kroz opštinu Kovin, a vi ste ribolovac (pecaroš), ljubitelj ste kampovanja, logorovanja ili pak samo želite da titta osvežite u Dunavu doživećete pravi mali raj na Žarkovačkoj, Stojkovoj ili Žilavoj adi. Na ovim lokacijama možete kroz vožnju čamcem uživati inom u foto safariju, posmatranju ptica. Da bi opuštanje bilo potpuno, kako bi vam sva čula uživala na svežem vazduhu posetite Skorenovac.
